The advertiser-funded programme is created and produced by the award-winning Shiver, an ITV Studios label, in association with home furnishings retailer Dunelm, via Goodstuff. ITV worked closely with Dunelm and Goodstuff on an innovative funding and brand partnership around the show which fitted in perfectly with the launch of a new creative platform for Dunelm titled “Our homewares, your home. Back to Mine, launching on ITV main channel on Sunday 30 September, is a light-hearted programme which taps into the idea that people’s home decor choices influence potential romantic partners.
Each episode will see a singleton take a look around the homes of three potential partners and pick who they would like to go on a date with.

The programme makes up a significant proportion of ITVBe’s output, with several repeats airing daily. New-to-air episodes are generally scheduled on a weekly basis, although some episodes from the fifth series were stripped daily across weeknights. The show involves a man or woman guest going for dinner at three different people’s houses on consecutive nights. The hosts are shown preparing a meal, usually some kind of interesting dish, and then the guest arrives. Afterward each host gives ratings of the guest, but then it is up to the guest to subsequently choose which of them they would like to go on a date to a restaurant with.
At the end of the show, the viewers are told whether they are still dating or not. Sometimes updates of the romantic lives of the two unpicked hosts are given as well. A celebrity version of the show has also aired since its move to ITVBe, featuring well-known British media personalities as the date-selecting participant. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. A new dating show to be broadcast on ITVBe is looking for single estate and letting agents to take part. The show is due to be broadcast later this year and its producers are looking for agents to carry out dates at their offices. Half of the date is spent with the singletons getting to know each other while one of them is at work and the second half is spent in a local bar or coffee shop, allowing the daters to get to know each other better. ITVBe is expert when it comes to making dross like this.
Sounds truly awful – you’d have to pay me to watch! Where do I sign up? Sounds utterly dreadful. What more do you expect from ITVBe, though? Where do they get these ideas from?
‘Dress To Impress’: ITV2 Launches All-New Dating Show Created By Matt Edmondson
There is some good news though as ITV2 are reportedly launching a brand new dating show to fill the huge Love Island-shaped void in our lives. They made their romance official within the Love Island villa, and winners Paige and Finn are still going strong back in the UK! The pair recently moved in together! After leaving the villa in third place, Demi and Luke were continuing to get to know each other, but in May reports suggested the pair had split.
Although they never went ‘official’, Jess and Ched continued to date outside the villa, but the pair ended things in May
Just when you thought that Love Island-shaped hole in your life would never diminish, ITV has gone and filled it with new dating show.
I’m not ashamed to admit that when the news broke we would not be seeing another series of Love Island until summer at the earliest, I was pretty devo’d. Love Island shapes my summer and now winter TV schedule, and it’s the light, compelling bit of fun I need in my life. But fear not; ITV is currently cooking up an alternative dating show that sounds every bit as thrilling as our beloved Love Island.
I’ll be honest, there’s not a huge amount of readily-available info out there just yet, but it sounds as though The Cabins will be just as gripping as Love Island. The TV show is going to be made alongside 12 Yard Productions, and is asking singletons to apply who are looking for “a real emotional connection” in the current climate of endless swiping and ghosting galore. Unfortunately, this is a detail we’re not yet sure of as news of the show has literally just been announced.
But seeing as ITV are still in the process of recruiting their singletons and will be until well into November, when applications close , we’re guessing it won’t be any time this year. I’ve reached out to ITV for further comment and will update this piece as soon as new information becomes available. If the premise of the show sounds like something you’d like to get involved in, you can already apply to become a contestant. Applications are live online, where you are asked to confirm you are over 18 years old, and are a permanent legal resident of the United Kingdom.
Fed up with swiping past the superficial and fake faces?

By Roxy Simons For Mailonline. Love Island bosses have announced a dating series called The Cabins, after they had to scrap the summer and winter editions of the show due to the COVID crisis. The channel announced on Thursday that they are set to launch a brand new format which will see singletons stay the night in a cabin in the middle of nowhere in the UK with potential suitors.
During the show, the couples will face 24 hours without a smartphone in a bid to truly connect with their date. Speaking about the new show, Paul Mortimer, ITV’s Head of Digital Channels and Acquisitions, said: ‘This is a fantastic new format which challenges young people to delete the apps and attempt to date face to face, with no distractions.

Trending 27th August by Adele Miner. While we usually are kept entertained for eight weeks by the saucy shenanigans of dozens of celeb-wannabees all looking for love and a few Instagram deals on our screens each summer. The programme will arrive on our screens next month and the first episode even includes a former Islander, Oliver Maxwell Fernandez, who is still searching for love. As dating shows go, this is pretty simple. The Radio 1 DJ thought up the idea while on a shopping trip of his own, he recently explained to The Mirror. As the show airs at 6pm – and features different people in each episode – we can confidently say that things will stay strictly PG.
